2020 was a year the world was rocked to its core. Throughout it all we stood strong supporting our customers, and together we thrived. Watch our video below to see what we achieved together.
By doing our part to reduce the spread of COVID and sending out COVID care packages to our staff. We also spotted our forklifts help reassure the people of Australia that we had a plentiful supply of toilet paper and PPE.
Through industry publications and our own blogs teaching you the best ways to clean your forklift, how to reduce warehouse costs, how to keep a forklift from tipping and what to include on a warehouse safety checklist.
We shone the Linde Limelight on Express Fruit, Arthur Yee, Independent Produce Professionals, Samson’s Fruit & Vegetable Supply, Seamless Industrial Solutions, Fruitlink and Wing Chong & Co.
And some of our customers including ASC, ITM Mining and Apollo Logistics shone their light on us.
We brought a full Baoli material handling solution to Australia and launched our most powerful and innovative forklift ever, the H20-H35 1202 Series.
The H20-H35 1202 series is a one-of-a-kind forklift in that it replaced two older Linde models the 392/393 series forklifts, and has already won some esteemed awards this year including Product of the Year 2020 and Best Practice Innovation 2020.
THE H20-H35’s launch was the first of its kind in Australia. We created a unique online experience platform in which anyone could view the H20-H35 in 360 degrees, discover its top features as well as customise it to suit their application. The platform was then supported by an in-depth marketing campaign that exceeded all expectations and went on to be one of the most successful launches Linde Australia has ever had.
We proudly supported joint initiatives with Woolworths and Foodbank Australia as well as Road Freight NSW and NSW Department of Education.
We helped larger customers like LJM Marketing Services go green and smaller customers like Farmplus QLD improve their fleet with pre-owned Linde forklifts.
Pre COVID we were giving back where we could including volunteering for the ‘Meals from the Heart’ program at Ronald McDonald House in Westmead, NSW. Even with COVID, we were still able to come together (while social distancing!) for good causes including Wear White to Work Day and R U OK? day.
Our team members shone brightly this year, in particular Ben Sexton one of our rural field service technicians in northern QLD, our WA and SA branches who supported some of our customers through the worst of COVID, and Hayden Hofland, one of our NSW service technicians who bravely fought bushfires in the NSW RFS earlier this year.
It has certainly been a year filled with ups and downs and we could not have made it through without our wonderful customers and amazing team members. With the deepest gratitude, we thank you for being part of the Linde journey, and we look forward to making 2021 the best year yet for all of our partners, big and small!
