In the year since Nino Pala became Managing Director of Linde Material Handling Australia the company has undergone dynamic changes locally, regionally and as part of the global KION Group.
KION Group is little known in Australia where its Linde brand has instead carried the corporate banner and carved out a reputation for quality, performance and customer focus. Already one of the largest global suppliers of forklift trucks, warehouse equipment and related services, the KION Group late last year became one of the leading global providers of intelligent intralogistics solutions by acquiring Dematic, a best-in-class automation provider and specialist in supply chain optimisation.
Nino Pala has drawn on his extensive corporate experience throughout Asia Pacific and North America to lead his team at Linde Material Handling Australia during a period of unprecedented, ongoing business and technological change for the industry.
Nino Pala spent more than 20 years with Recall as part of the Brambles organisation before joining Linde. As President of Recall North America he was responsible for all service lines in the US, Canada and Mexico. He had previously served as President of Recall Asia Pacific, overseeing profitable growth in eight countries in the region. This was after joining Brambles’ Recall division in 1996, serving as CFO of Recall Australasia and then CFO of Recall Americas prior to becoming President of Recall Asia Pacific in 2002. Prior to joining Recall, Nino served in various financial roles with Brambles’ waste management division, Cleanaway. Nino received his Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University in Australia.
