It’s 8:30 am on March 16, and the Renault Sport Formula 1 team headquarters in Enstone, Oxfordshire, England has only one day to pack and ship 32 tonnes of vital freight in order to make the start of the Formula 1 season half a world away in Australia. Geoff Simmonds, Race Team Coordinator at Renault Sport, emphasises that there's no room for breakdowns or other problems.

Communication and teamwork

For four years now, the Renault Sport Formula 1 team has relied on Linde forklift trucks to load all of its equipment, and to assist with race car construction at the racetrack, around the globe.
