Linde Material Handling Australia (a member of the KION Group) is pleased to announce the appointment of George Pappas as its new Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, effective January 1, 2022. As a result of this appointment, George has also been appointed as an Executive Director for KION ITS Rest of Asia Pacific Countries (RAPAC).

George has been part of the Linde and KION Group for over 18 years, and he steps into his new role after having served as Senior Director of Sales and Service ANZ for the last 4 years. As a result of this change, other new key appointments have taken place at Linde, which will set the company up for further success in 2022 and beyond.

Leigh Atallah has expanded his role to become the Director of Sales with Chris Devanny being promoted to National Manager — Key Account Sales, and Mark Goodge as National Manager – Retail & Territory Sales.

Nicholas Mavroucas has been appointed as the new General Manager of Aftersales, with oversight of the field service team, workshop and spare parts and technical operations.

Linde Material Handling Australia wishes its former Managing Director, Mr Nino Pala well as he enters his new role as Senior Vice President KION ITS RAPAC.

These changes ensure Linde can continue to support and grow its national customer base in meeting each of their individual goals — no matter how big or small.
