At Linde Australia, we recognise our most important resource is our amazing people. That's why we work hard to help them realise their full potential by investing in their development - right from the start!
Our trainees and apprentices are given incredible support, mentorship and guidance, so they can begin their careers with strong skills and the confidence they need to succeed.
So, what does that look like for Linde's trainees and apprentices?Read on to find out.
Cody Psaila is an Apprentice Technician who started with Linde in Western Australia earlier this year with ambitions to become a fully qualified and proficient Linde Field Service Technician.
Cody recommends undertaking an apprenticeship course to anyone as it's taught him some valuable skills, “I have learnt to walk before I can run”, he says about his experience of starting with the basics and working from there.
Amy Sustic started as a Local Service Admin Trainee this year in Queensland. Although still early in her career, Amy says she feels as though her traineeship has already built a strong foundation of skills for her role and by learning something new every day her skillset is growing rapidly.
But her favourite part of her role?
The relationships she has built with her colleagues at the branch. “They really are
amazing,” she said.
Sarah Brand is our Service Support Trainee based out of Western Australia.
Sarah joined the Linde team earlier this year and has been handling enquiries, invoicing,
allocating service jobs and breakdowns to technicians as well as answering any customer
calls.
She had high praise for the Western Australia team.
“Linde has gone to exceptional lengths to ensure that I settled in well. I have received tremendous support from both the local team and the other branches across the country.”.”
Michael Pongrac is an Apprentice Technician in Victoria and started his Linde journey in 2020.
With a passion for fault finding and dealing with tricky situations, Michael thrives on being able to work autonomously as he continues to learn throughout his apprenticeship.
Emma Mutu is our Reception and Administration Support Trainee based out of South Australia.
Emma joined the Linde team in 2021 and has been looking after reception and supporting our Commercial team through the coordination of transport, short term rentals and demonstration units.
The goal of our trainees and apprentices is usually to take a full-time role with Linde, like Eliya and Ashalee have.
Eliya Nankivell is our Junior Service Administrator based out of our New South Wales office. She joined the Linde team in January 2021 as a Central Service Admin Trainee, where she supported the Central Service administration.
Eliya said Linde's investment in her development so early on was invaluable to her success. “I have learned new skills that I would have had to teach myself if I stepped into an entry level position, without any prior training.”
Ashalee Abbott is our Accounts Receivable Clerk based out of our Head Office in New South Wales. Ashalee started with us in December 2019 as a Finance Trainee. She said the trainee hands-on experience was critical to her success in graduating to a full-time role.
“The ability to implement your training in your work as you go is incredibly helpful.”
